What is this test for?
It measures global self-esteem — your overall sense of worth as a person — not a specific domain like work confidence or appearance. Half the statements are worded positively and half negatively, by design, to reduce the tendency to automatically agree.
How do you benefit from your result?
The normal range is wide (15–25), so there's no need to worry over a middling score. If your result is consistently low across more than one measurement, it's more useful to work on it with a mental health professional than to try to "raise it" alone — self-esteem often reflects thinking patterns that respond well to cognitive behavioral therapy.
